The industrial attachment also known by many students as internship lasts typically for three months, but the duration differs from institution to institution. Some companies offering attachment opportunities pay for industrial attachment jobs while others do not pay at all (in an article we had written earlier, we had provided a list of companies that pay for industrial attachment). To improve your chances of getting an industrial attachment in Kenya, you have to write a very appealing attachment letter.
When you are writing an industrial attachment application letter or internship application opportunity letter to be very specific and ensure that there are no any grammatical or spelling mistakes in your letter, company executives have no time to go through very long letters. Also, make sure that you have attached your Curriculum Vitae (CV) to accompany your industrial attachment application letter. Do not be troubled about the content in your CV; the respective company directors understand that you are only a student, so they don’t expect that much in your CV.
